Formed in January 1979, Contact Design has become one of South Wales' leading suppliers of Contract and Permanent Draftsmen, Engineers and Technicians and Mechanical Design Solutions on a fixed cost basis.

Since 1979 we have specialised in providing a Professional Design and Drafting service to industry in South Wales and the surrounding region. Over the past ten years we have invested in the latest CAD Software and Hardware, enabling us to provide a service that keeps pace with the needs of industry.

The prime 3D CAD software currently used by us is Solid Edge. We use this to provide everything from Initial Design Concepts right through to Detail Design, Product Visualisation and Rapid Prototyping.

Our Work Stations are also equipped with AutoCad allowing us to provide a wide CAD base to match the needs of the majority of users in the UK.

We supply to clients Contract Draughtsmen and Engineers to work at their offices if required. This helps our clients solve problems such as, under manning on projects or the need to provide extra expertise where required.

Personnel can sometimes be supplied with CAD hardware and software where the need to have the expertise is affordable but the budget restrictions may not allow for the investment in the equipment and software required.
